Hello visitors,
A little about my collecting history:

Collecting anything started more often by accident than by planning, as did my collection of sewing machines. In the early 1970's an old lady in her late 80's gave me a Singer #20 child's toy machine she had from childhood. In the mid 1970's a friend bought an 1890's New Home coffee top at an auction and dropped it off at our store. Well, the collection was started. Most of my collection was found by chance. I didn't have time to hunt them out. Some i kept others I just restored and sold. Restoring both machines and cabinets is a very tedious chore. I still have the Singer #20 and the 1890 New Home. At one time I had over 50 treadle machines, some were never restored, but used as parts, etc.

I also got interested in old vacuum cleaners, by accident of course, some are captured in the pictures below. Nancy, my wife, put a stop to collecting vacuums, the place started to look like a junk yard and she let me have it. So much for vacuum collecting.

You may be interested to know that the green tubular looking vacume 2nd from the left. I believe it came from the home of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Borrow (AKA: Bonnie & Clyde) as it has a gun shot hole through the upper part. I invision this vacuum setting in the corner of their kitchen when the feds were shooting at Bonnie and Clyde, one of the many times in their careers they pulled off an escape. Of course if you believe this as some have, I could probably interest you in a trip to the moon in a hot air balloon.

I hope you enjoy looking at my collection as I do often when I get to show them off at my home. Thank you for visiting and may God bless you!
